The Governance and Humanitarian Life of Dr. Moshe Kantor
Today, Dr. Moshe Kantor is probably the most prominent Jewish leader in Europe who is committed to safeguarding the freedom, safety, and success of the Jewish people, contributing significantly to advancing Jewish life in Europe and beyond.
Since he is the head of the Luxembourg Forum on Preventing Nuclear Catastrophe, an international NGO, Dr. Viatecheslav Moshe Kantor together with other prominent leaders warns against the threat of terrorism and distribution of nuclear materials.
The principal purpose of this international non-governmental organization is to provide useful information concerning existing state of affairs in various states such as the Middle East, Korean Peninsula as well as South Asia via their heads of states, ambassadors, and scientists.
In 2008, Dr. Viatecheslav Moshe Kantor established an independent organization in Europe referred to as The European Council on Tolerance and Reconciliation whose primary goal is to encourage people to endure the existence of opinions, beliefs, practices and racial or ethnic origins in addition to reconciling people around the globe.
Being the leader of this independent body, Dr. Moshe Kantor together with other world-renowned leaders seek to find concrete solutions to bring different people who belong to different religious conviction and cultural beliefs on the continent together. In his leadership, Kantor leads the war against prejudice, chauvinism, and anti-Semitism and still strives to encourage greater leniency.
Having been elected unopposed in the elections of 2007, 2012 and 2016, Dr. Kantor heads the European Jewish Congress now. In his governance in EJC, he attempts to improve the lives of the Jewish People by presenting their complaints, and also he is at the forefront advocating for peace.
This foundation has also enabled the young generation to research about their art, music, and literature at the Kantor Centre for the Study of Contemporary European Jewry which he established in 2010 at the Tel-Aviv University.
Due to his love for Holocaust Education, Dr. Moshe Kantor established two Holocaust remembrance forums which are known as the World Holocaust Forum and the European Jewish Fund. These two panels seek to preserve the memories of the tragic events that happened in the 20th century. More so, the Jewish people are now proud of their identity as Dr. Moshe Kantor has been able to uplift their lives using these forums.
Moreover, Dr. Moshe Kantor is a caring individual since he cares for everything he has faith in all over the world.It is for that reason, he has founded various forums on the continent which include the Kantor Charitable Foundation which he launched in 2007. What’s more, he is at the forefront ensuring that the revolutionary work for youngsters, young generation and their relatives who are living through mental disorders will continue in a new drive through the Anna Freud Centre that he built.
